Education is the most important task in SKLMRD. To attract top undergraduate students from other universities, we offer unique opportunities "DICP Scholarship" for talented students. In addition,we also organize summer camps and other activities to invite the talentedundergraduate students from domestic universities to visit and study here.For the graduate students, we invites famous scientists and scholars to teach in our graduate program. In order to improve the overall quality ofmentors and graduate students, we have initiated a series of training programs for both graduate advisors and graduatestudents. We cooperate extensively with many renowned industrial enterprises, such as Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group)Corp. Ltd. in China, Corning Incorporated in the United States, Haldor Topsøe in Denmark, American Superconductor in theUnited States, and BHP Billiton in Australia. These companies have offered scholarships for students at our institute. We alsohave cooperation agreements with world-renowned academic institutions and we send our best graduate students abroad forjoint research and academic exchange. Destinations for these students include, among others, the University of Liverpool,Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Okayama University, University of California at Santa Barbara, and the King AbdullahUniversity of Science and Technology. 

SKLMRD has16 PhD supervisors, and also 106 PhD & Mastergraduate students. From 2004 to 2015, 10students won the national scholarship, 14students won the CAS President Award, more than 120students won the CASnamed scholarships, more than 70 studentswon DICP and other people named scholarships.
