SKLMRD has been the major domestic chemical reaction dynamics research base and the leading unit of many national major fundamental research projects. According to statistics, during 2002-2021, the lab has hosted about 700 research projects, with the total amount of budget  to be CNY 1500 million. Some major projects are listed here: 6 important projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), 2 important projects from the National Natural Science Foundation Committee (NSFC), 3 projects from the Chinese academy of sciences (CAS).
