Recently, the Editorial Board of the Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) journal has informed DICP that the special issue of PCCP on the topic of “Hydrogen Bonding in Electronically Excited States”, edited by Prof. Guangjiu Zhao and Prof. Keli Han of DICP, was chosen as the “2012 Editor’s Choice” of the journal(PCCP Themed Issue, 2012, Volume 14, Issue 25). Last year, PCCP had published a total of 14 special issues, and only two of them were chosen as the Editor’s Choice.
In this special monograph edited by the DICP scientists, invited papers were contributed by international research groups engaging actively in the area of excited states of hydrogen bonding. Among 63 submitted papers, 27 were selected for publication in the special issue, including 5 perspectives and 22 research accomplishments. Authors of the papers came from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, China, and so on. The topics involved were excited states of hydrogen bonding relating to gaseous and condensed phase photochemistry, spectrometry and other aspects.
