A monograph entitled "Potential Surfaces and Molecular Collision Theories", written by Prof. HAN Keli and Associate Prof. SUN Benfan of DICP, has been published recently by the Jilin Publishing Co.

The potential surface and the molecular collision theory are basic theories in chemical dynamic researches. The monograph not only gives introduction on the construction of various potential surfaces, but also explains in detail the various theories on molecular collisions that are employed in kinetic studies, including quasi-classical kinetic theories and quantum scattering theories. Computational examples are also given for the major theories. Moreover, the monograph also included an introduction on the non-adiabatic quantum kinetic theory as well as the quasi-classical orbital line theory for stereo-chemical kinetics, all these theories were developed by the research group headed by Prof. HAN Keli in recent years.
