The published results of the DICP research program "Breakdown of the Born-Oppenheimer Approximation in the F+D2->DF+D reaction" have been voted recently as one of the "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Progresses of 2007 in China". The program was accomplished by a DICP team headed by Prof. YANG Xueming. The ranking was evaluated from an anonymous joint voting of 547 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The event was reported by the Science & Technology Daily of China on 20 January. The research results of the DICP program was published on Science (317, 5841, 1061-1064).
The previous results of this DICP research topic was also rated as one of the "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Progresses in China" last year.
