Dual-Channel TOFMS with Threshold Photoelectron Imaging Instrument

Energy resolution of threshold photoelectron:  2~3 meV

Functions & Applications

Improve the traditional single channel time of flight mass spectrometry-photoelectron imaging device, the TOF is divided into two equivalent channels. The space focus point of upper channel sets the VMI instrument, the relevant space focus point of under channel installs the ion detect device. For D-TOF-VMI, the ion signal strength increases 2-5 times due to the flight path can be designed for very short (0.435 m) . As a result, very weak ion signals can be detected. Moreover, this experimental instrument can be applied in investigating intermediates and radicals in the reaction.
