Functions & Applications
Using time-resolved femtosecond two-photon photoemission spectroscopy (2PPE) as a major probe technique, this ultrahigh vacuum (UHV) based apparatus incorporates ultraviolet and X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS, XPS) and temperature programmed desorption (TPD) for the study of photophysics and photochemistry of light harvesting system. It is capable of analyzing the chemical species, monitoring both the ground and excited electronic structure and exploring the ultrafast interfacial charge transfer. Molecular beam gas doser, thermal gas cracker and evaporator facilitate the adsorption and modification of target substrate such as TiO2 and Fe2O3.
